THE “NEW” SELBY 3 LAKES!!!

      We are now in a position to give a FULL update as to the changes that have taken place over the last month regarding the “NEW” Selby 3 Lakes Fishery.
       The “cut throughs” between what was known as Lakes 1 and 2 have now been reinstated as banks, therefore creating a totally new and independent fishery on the “old” Lake 1, which will continue to be known as “SELBY 3 LAKES”

        In addition to these banks being reinstated, substantial work has been carried out on the lake itself, with some new Carp pegs being created and some old non Carp pegs being removed. All this work has been done in order to ensure a much improved Carp Fishing experience for you.

       The Lake will be available for Carp Fishing ONLY with a MAXIMUM of 10 Anglers, and all 10  places MUST be Pre-Booked,  as previously by telephoning Gordon Fowler on the existing Selby 3 Lakes Telephone No: 07818092420.

A lot of our  Carp fishing friends, both old and new, have been asking us as to where the existing head of carp are, now that  the new banks that been put back in. The simple answer is …………………. Only the Carp know the answer to that one!!!!

       However, it is a fair assumption that as the banks were reinstated in the very cold winter period AND as lake 1 is the deepest lake (AND they had some “personal” encouragement to tempt them into Lake 1 !!!!!) we feel that it is highly likely that the new fishery will contain a VERY large head of quality big Carp.

        However, in addition to the original fish, new stock has already been sourced and selected in order to ensure that the Lake will provide outstanding Carp fishing for many years to come and it will regain it’s place as one of Northern England’s Premier Carp fishing Waters!!!!!!!!!
